How To Celebrate Independence Day in Naples
The 4th of July is rapidly approaching here in Southwest Florida, and there is many ways to celebrate the birthday of America in a way only we can in Naples.
I’m sharing with you all of my favorite things to do in Naples for Independence Day!
Floats, Music, and More Marching Down Our Streets
Naples Annual 4th of July Parade
Parades are something we do best in Naples! Starting at 10:00am the route goes from Broad Avenue South to Third Street South, then through 5th Avenue South, on to 8th Street South and past City Hall before it ends.
The 4th of July parade is a fun way to start your celebration of our community and our country!
4th of July Special Concert
Red, White, & Groove
Before we get underway with the fireworks, Mercato has a special treat with a concert featuring Kailia Love and The ANTHEM Band! There will also be giveaways, fans, bubbles and more. The Pub will be there for cocktails, beer, and refreshments while Yogurbella‘s frozen yogurt cart will be there for sweet treats!
The concert starts at 6:30pm so come dressed in your best red, white, and blue attire and if you’re one of the first 100 people you’ll get a free Mercato lawn chair!
A Naples Tradition Along The Beach
Fireworks at the Naples Pier
What says paradise more than being able to sit along the beach and watch a 30 minute fireworks show shot off of a barge just west of the Naples Pier!?
The fireworks show is choreographed to sound effects and music – truly fun for the whole family. The show starts at 9:00pm, but if you can’t make it then you can still stream the fireworks show on Naples Pier Panorama!
4th of July After Party
Drones in Paradise
Independence Day this year falls on Thursday, which means not everybody can celebrate late, but Paradise Coast Sports Complex is having their celebration on Saturday evening!
Starting at 6:00pm there will be something for everybody in the family with live music, bounce houses, remote control cars, laser tag, a movie in the Stadium, face painting, and of course the patriotic themed drone show begins at 9:00pm – this is a must see event!
